Nomination of the Swiss Finance
Institute's advisory bodies
The Swiss Finance Institute
is pleased to announce that it has completed the nomination of its advisory bodies. The decisions of
the Foundation Board of Swiss Finance Institute will be aided by the expert advice of the Executive
Education Advisory Board in matters of executive education and by an International Scientific Council
in matters of research.
The Executive Education Advisory Board will be
composed of 14 members representing a wide range of interests and recognized expertise. It will be chaired
by Mr. Urs Hofmann, Chief Learning Officer, Credit Suisse.
The Scientific
Council will be chaired by Prof. René Stulz of Ohio State University. Of Swiss origin, René Stulz has
led a distinguished career in the US. He is the past president of the American Finance Association and
a past editor of the prestigious Journal of Finance. A graduate of MIT he has published extensively
in all the major journals of the profession. The Council will be composed of T. Bollerslev (Duke), P.
Bolton (Columbia), M. Brennan (UCLA) and I. Karatzas (Columbia).
