We have the pleasure to announce the Third Annual Meeting of the Swiss Finance Institute on November 18th, 2008 in Geneva. Jointly organized with the Geneva Financial Center the event fosters a link, vital for Switzerland's future success as a financial center, between researchers and practitioners in finance.

The full day research and knowledge transfer event, hosted at the Credit Suisse Forum Genève, features a roundtable on finance in the wake of the subprime crisis. Roundtable panelists include UBS Group CEO Dr. Marcel Rohner, NYU Stern Business School Dean Tom Cooley, former SEC Chief Economist Prof. Chester Spatt and JP Morgan Chief Executive Officer of Asset Management Mr. Jes Staley. Mr. Peter Thal Larsen, Financial Times Banking Editor, will moderate.

Institute faculty and guest speakers will discuss research ranging from asset management to systemic risk, including a presentation by newly appointed SFI Senior Chair Amit Goyal on the performance of institutional investment managers.

Knowledge transfer sessions and a panel discussion on executive education round out the event with topics from managerial leadership in banking to alternative investments. We kindly ask that you register by October 22nd, 2008.
