Swiss Finance Institute Research Prizes

The Swiss Finance Institute’s ambition is to guarantee the best environment for its researchers and to develop synergies between researchers and practitioners with the goal of ensuring the best orientation of the sponsored research. The Swiss Finance Institute research output is made available to the Swiss Finance Institute’s supporting community and interested parties through various publications.

Academic Publications

It is expected that the mark of the Swiss Finance Institute will be felt very quickly via an acceleration of publications by affiliated researchers in top academic journals, i.e., those journals that historically have been first in promoting the ideas that have changed financial practices. In 2007 SFI researchers have had their research published or accepted for future publication in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial Economics, the American Economic Review, Econometrica and other high level journals. The current and forthcoming list of publications by SFI researchers is available by clicking here.

Swiss Finance Institute Research Paper Series

The aim of the Swiss Finance Institute Research Paper Series is to disseminate original theoretical or empirical research with relevance to banking and finance. The series includes research contributions carried out at the Swiss Finance Institute and its research partner, the National Centre of Competence in Research "Financial Valuation and Risk Management" (NCCR FinRisk), by faculty, PhD students and affiliated researchers. Paper submissions should be sent to RPS@sfi.ch and must include the paper, a short abstract, keywords, JEL classification, and the author's affiliation. Please contact RPS@sfi.ch in case of any questions on the series. To access the papers in this series, please click here: Paper List

As of January 1, 2006, the International Center FAME was merged into the Swiss Finance Institute.
