Faculty Positions in Finance
Together with its partner universities, the Swiss Finance Institute is seeking to recruit new faculty members for junior as well as senior positions in finance as early as Fall 2010. Interviews will be conducted at the Atlanta AFA meeting. Applications from all areas of finance are welcome.
Job Qualifications: We stress excellence in research and in teaching at the undergraduate, Master and/or Ph.D. levels. Candidates should have a Ph.D., or expect to complete a Ph.D. in the near future, and should demonstrate the potential for outstanding achievement in research or teaching.
About the Swiss Finance Institute: The Swiss Finance Institute is a private foundation funded by the Swiss banks and SWX, merging 3 existing foundations: the International Center FAME, the Swiss Banking School and the Banking and Finance Foundation at the University of Zurich. With its university partners, the Swiss Finance Institute pursues the objective of forming a competence center in banking and finance commensurate to the importance of the Swiss financial center. It is active in research, doctoral training and executive education while also proposing activities fostering interactions between academia and the industry.
The Swiss Finance Institute operates on 3 campuses (Léman, Lugano, Zurich) in partnership with the Universities of Geneva, Lausanne, Lugano, Zurich and the Polytechnic Institutes of Lausanne (EPFL) and Zurich (ETHZ).
