Peter Schuppli is in charge of course management. He is executive director of a Family Office and a partner in an independent asset management group. Previously he spent 20 years with the Credit Suisse Group in various technical and managerial positions – latterly as a member of the management of Bank Leu AG. Peter Schuppli has many years of management and teaching experience. In summer 2004 he published a book entitled «Kundenpflege im Private Banking – Praxishandbuch für Selbstführung und Verkaufsleitung» (Customer service in Private Banking – a practical manual for self-guidance and sales management).


Claudio Chicchini is Head of Private Banking of the Zurich Enge region at Credit Suisse. Before being appointed to his present position in 2004, he was Head Financial Planning at Credit Suisse Private Banking for eight years. Besides being a certified bank specialist, Mr Chicchini has also completed the Executive Program of the Swiss Finance Institute and holds a post-graduate degree as Financial Consultant.


Dr. Harry Hurzeler is COO and Director Executive Education of the Swiss Finance Institute and was Managing Director of the Swiss Banking School until its merger into the Swiss Finance Institute. Dr. Hurzeler spent 13 years at Credit Suisse, among other as Managing Director of CS Trust & Banking, Tokyo, as Managing Director and Country Manager Japan for CS First Boston, and as Head of CS's international IT. Dr. Hurzeler has a Ph.D. in mathematics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, and a Master in Business from the University of St. Gall, and taught at Ohio State University as a professor of mathematics.


Adrian F. Leuenberger has been a member of the Executive Board and Head of Private Banking International at Bank Leu since 2003. Prior to joining Bank Leu, Mr. Leuenberger has held several management positions at Credit Suisse in Switzerland and Nestlé in Japan and China. In addition, he has worked in the field of private equity and venture capital both in Switzerland and the USA. He has lived and worked close to 20 years in the US and Asia and holds a Bachelor degree from Wake Forest University (USA) and an MBA from the Harvard Business School (USA).


Gian A. Rossi is a member of the Executive Committee of Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. and CEO Private Banking for German-speaking Switzerland and Europe, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Scandinavia since November 2006. Before, he worked at Credit Suisse Group for 21 years, of which 10 years in management positions in Private Banking. He was responsible for the Competence Centre providing financial planning, investment consulting, credits and sales for central Switzerland, the set-up of the International Wealth Management Unit in Singapore and concluded his career with Credit Suisse as Head of Germany desk in Private Banking. Mr Rossi holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences, Chur.


Prof. Gerhard Steiner is Professor of Psychology and Director of the Institute of Psychology at the University of Basel. He has accompanied several mandates in the private sector, especially in education and leadership which also includes training and coaching. Furthermore, Prof. Steiner is also a member of the scientific council of the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Munich and a member of the Institute of Applied Psychology in Zurich. He also used to be a member of the scientific working group which advised the Head of Training of the Swiss Army.
