Topic: “Liquidity and Liquidity Risk Management” and “Frontiers in Risk Management” are the themes in the morning and afternoon research sessions.
In parallel a master class on "Financial Architecture, Systemic Risk and Competitive Performance" will be held as applied session during the morning. The afternoon is dedicated to “Funding and Liquidity Risk Management” from the perspective of a regional respectively international bank and a consulting firm.
The day will be rounded up by Prof. Thomas Jordan from the Swiss National Bank with the topic "Systemic Risk and Regulation: Managing the Challenges".

Swiss Finance Institute has attributed its Outstanding Paper Award to “The Impact of Treasury Supply on Financial Sector Lending and Stability”, a research paper by Arvind Krishnamurthy of Stanford University and Annette Vissing-Jorgensen of the University of California Berkeley that studies how government debt crowds out financial sector short-term debt.
Swiss Finance Institute publishes the first comprehensive Swiss study on structured products. The most recent SFI White Paper sheds light on the performance, costs, and investments of structured products.
