Program [PDF]
The Swiss Finance Institute is pleased to announce the seminar on
Swiss Banking: External Constraints and Opportunities
The profitability of Swiss banks depends on their ability to master the economic, legal and political challenges and changes that face them today. Most changes are restrictive. However, in the history of banking and finance, restrictions have always led to powerful and sustainable innovations.
So, where are today's most profitable opportunities, free from heavy downside risks?
This two-day seminar, in Lugano, will survey the challenges that financial institutions face in taxation, national and international regulations, shadow banking, cross-border banking and IT security. The speakers will outline the current status of these issues, foresee future developments, and identify profitable but stable opportunities.
Speakers: - Prof. Dr. Hannel Lubich, FHNW - Dr. Peter N. Damisch, Boston Consulting Group - Dr. Stefan Jaecklin, Oliver Wyman - Dr. Hans-Joachim Jaeger, Ernst & Young - Dr. Felix Wenger, McKinsey - Dr. David Wicki, Zurich Cantonal Bank
